Dr. Zach Bush, MD, on the Mark Groves podcast, April 19, 2021:
I love to re-listen to this amazing quote from Dr. Zach Bush, a brilliant scientist and medical doctor who has the courage and confidence and scientific and medical credentials to take us to the edge of human understanding (1:17:30):
“When you can genetically sequence an organism like a human and find out that we hardly exist outside of the viral data within us it suddenly puts not humans at the center of the human life experience, it puts the microbiome at the center. Humans aren’t the center of humanity. Humans aren’t the center of human consciousness. Humans are an amalgamation of biology on the planet that is expressing its collective intelligence through this human moment that we’re in.”
It is so profound. It speaks to a perception that I think excites most of us: there is a connection between all living things. We see it in other humans, of course, especially our immediate loved ones, but we also see it in our beloved pets, and even beyond that.
It also speaks to an eternal consciousness that I believe each of us will be welcomed into at the end of our Earthly journey, as attested to during so many of those end-of-life ICU experiences that we have heard about and Dr. Bush talks about, where those rare souls who have passed beyond the veil return briefly to consciousness, and in that moment they almost always tell us that for the first time they experienced total acceptance and then they find the grace, and the words, to forgive an estranged loved one and restore a broken relationship that was shattered for years.
I yearn for this kind of deeper consciousness. Dr. Bush is a portal to that realm for his many devoted fans and followers.
