The Inside Pitch for Convention of States

To a few of my co-workers and friends

I gave you the general audience pitch before about the Convention of States.  Now let me give you the inside pitch.  When I was at the capitol with the California COS team (12 people from all over CA) we split into teams of two and went around to the legislator’s offices in the building next to the capitol, some times with appointments and sometimes just dropping in because it was Lobby Day and they were inviting drop-ins.  In the morning I was teamed with a more experienced team member. I mostly just listened while he did all the talking in our meetings.  In a break between meetings he confided that they don’t expect to get the COS resolution to pass in California this year and maybe not next year.  California is currently run by a democrat majority. The support or opposition to COS is mostly along party lines even though the COS campaign is based on Article V of the Constitution and theoretically it is bipartisan.  He said, “We’re in this for the long haul.”  I was impressed with that long-haul approach and their professional way of working with the legislators and staffers.

If things in this government really go in the toilet over the next year and the current regime continues to take our country down hill, the idea of having a Convention of States to try and get us back on a firm Constitutional footing may be the last hope (Dr. Kevin Roberts, President of The Heritage Foundation, concurs).  We stare in disbelief at unfolding world events and realize that none of our leaders are going to publicly confront the monster in the room, described so thoroughly by independent investigators Sasha Latypova and Katherine Watt and by John Leake and Dr. Peter McCullough on the Courageous Discourse Substack and other independent investigators. A small group of faceless string pullers have once again put one over on humanity for their own political and financial purposes and the military industrial complex has once again committed genocide, like the hundreds of thousands in the ‘War on Terror’ since 9/11 and all the manufactured wars in history.
